A 75-minute mid-day practice steeped in Taoism and filled with the balance of yin and yang energies. An interweaved mixture of yin postures and flowing movement creates a balanced chi of yin and yang in the body, mind, and spirit. This is an approachable practice for all bodies that also invites challenge and a deeper listening.

Enjoy your own class where you can reduce stress, invest in your body, and up your game. Geared towards getting into the tight places while working on strength and range of motion, this class will be a combination of Yin/Vinyasa styles of yoga. Yin yoga works to open up your flexibility by targeting the deep connective tissue with quiet and intense holds. Vinyasa, a moving and flowing yoga, will maintain and build strength and mobility in your body. Emphasis on breath and mindfulness will also help to reduce stress and clear that cluttered mind. Still the mind. Let life slow down. Enter a slower, quieter and deeper practice where yielding into poses is encouraged. Yin poses are held longer allowing deeper penetration into the fascia, connective tissues and joints. Bolsters, blankets and blocks will allow you to explore deeper stretches without injury and allow for deeper opening in the body. This is an approachable practice for all bodies that also invites challenge and a deeper listening.

Slow down your vinyasa and savor the experience. Find a deep meditative flow that allows time to sink into postures and cultivate a deeper breath. Class will focus on hip opening, heart opening, strengthening, and grounding elements. Inversions may be introduced along with arm balances and more challenging poses.

A 90-minute Taoist-based practice that incorporates movement and stillness within a challenging but welcoming setting. The Yin portion of the practice is quiet and meditative yet intense involving longer held postures for deeper stretching in the ligaments, joints, and connective tissue. The Yang portion of the practice is a moving & flowing practice working on strength, energy, and the movement of chi through the body. Taoist Chinese philosophy, the meridian lines and their prospective organs, along with the Five Chinese Elements are folded into the class experience. Class will close with a supported restorative pose and svasana for full integration of the yin and yang.
